How to reformatt acer 8930 - Acer Aspire 8920-6671 Notebook

Just because all systems look go. Does not mean the power cord is working correctly and the charging portion of the power supply unit may not be working you will still be able to power the computer on but not charge replace that unit and you should be back up and charging again. You know it is not a battery problem it is the cord and component due to your test. Makes sense to me also one other factor to consider, the battery may be charging but will not hold the charge be sure to fully charge the battery and see how long it takes to drain down. Just a suggestion. John

send it back for reformatt/clean of corrupted filesystem or reformatt and reinstall OS

Usually at the front of the Acers on left....or at the left side...run your hand gently along front or left and locate the dummy card already in there, push gently and it will pop out.

i dont know about your os, you can try it by windows service pack 2.

reinstal the driver if this do not do the job go to service with it if you still have it.

on the back of your laptop should be a sticker with the product code on it

for this you must install Tochpad Driver

the resolution is that you need open the keyboard screws from the back and open it up.Then you will see a rubber panel in there,clean it up using any liquid and a cloth,fit it back in,it should work fine.
