Razr V3 Hi, I'm having trouble with erasing and deleting messages from my outbox. After sending a text, I go back to delete it, and it says sending still in progress, but it asks if i like to delete it anyway, I push yes, but nothing happens. What's wrong with this wacky phone??

If I understand correctly you would like to delete test messages on your Motorola RAZR V3 phone. Here are a few tips for deleting those messages.

1. Use the Center Key to select the Messaging Setting which looks like a tiny envelope.

2. Press Options, then

3. Scroll to and select Erase Messages.

4. Next, scroll to All, Outbox, or Drafts, and press Select.

Try deleting some or all of your text messages from your in and outbox. It should do the trick.

Sometimes the software on the V3 can get a bit mixed up. try the following;

• Try taking the SIM out and put it in another phone, then try deleting the message if it's there.
• If that doesn't work, put a different SIM in your V3 and see if the message is still there and, if it's there, try deleting it.

well one way for shure is to back up your phone with motorola phone tools,,make shure that your phone numbers are saved to your sim chip.or sync with phone tools.then do a master reset and mater clear on the phone..or you can go threw phone tools and clear your message box.

Go to Menu--message--inbox--open up the message which u want to delete n then press the option button---u will see Erase/Delete as an option then click OK.Again press OK if asks for confirmation.That's how u empty your inbox. If u want to delete all the inbox messages then for that also you have an option in the inbox. Just don't forget to press the "Option" button if u have to see the function.

I had this problem with my Moto RAZR and I had to call customer care. They moved me to some other tower, or something. They were having a problem in my area.

Try emptying your outbox. In your message center, scroll to your outbox, hit the menu bar, and scroll to where it says "clean up messages" - you should see an option to delete the messages in the outbox.

when you are in your inbox or outbox press the menu key and scroll down to delete or delete all.

highlight the message in your inbox and press menu. You should have the option to unlock. Select that. tHen you should be able to delete them.
As far as your voicemail...
Call and leave yourself a message and then delete it. This will cause the voicemail system to send a message to your phone to remove the icon.

I have seen this problem alot. I will give you two different solutions, the second worked best for me. The first is to remove your SIM card and leave it out for a few seconds then put it back in. From what I know, phones with SIM cards save the messages to the sim card and the other saves them to the phone. The second which works good for me, it a product called Motorola phone tools, it comes with the software, data cable, if you have a computer this will cost you a few dollars, but check around I bought mine for $30.00.
