There are some technical difficulties with the laptop on its factory setting. What you're missing is something called the driver. its basically the software that lets the webcam function. Go to ACER web site and download the CAM Drivers and install them again. OR, go to the Control panel/devices/ and look down the list and look for an ICON suggesting a device is not recognized. Click on the ICON and select Update Driver.
