If an intermittent scrape, could be a bent disk.
Check by putting on main stand and spinning the wheel to isolate which disk then replace.
If a constant scrape check the calipers for contamination ( a stone jammed in it ) , seized pistons. bent bolts.

May be the pistons in the caliper are pushed to one side. It should sort it's self with normal use. But to chack set the bike on main stand and with the front wheel in the air spin the wheel to see if the disc is warped or thw bearings are gone in the wheel hub.

Bleeding front disc brake on suzuki bandit 600

Push the caliper pistons fully in.Pour fluid from the top and watch it always so it never runs out of fluid during the procedure.Turn the bleeder on the caliper counterclockwise 3/4 of a turn.Have a tube attached on the bleeder with its other end in a bottle.Press the lever once all the way in. Hold it pressed.Close the bleederRelease the leverRepeat until no air bubbles comes out of the bleeder. You should already feel a little pressure on the lever. Now start pushing the lever 10 times (pressing the master cylinder) and on the last one, hold the lever in and open the bleeder. Close the bleeder and release the lever.Repeat that until no air bubbles comes out of the bleeder. At this point you should be ready to ride.If you still don't have pressure on your lever, you need to take the brake master cylinder apart for repair.

How do you remove front tire from 1999 suzuki bandit 1200

First remove the wheel, by removing the brake calipers on both sides, removing the pinch bolts from the forks and remove the wheel spindle, when wheel is removed, deflate the tyre by removing the valve core, then you will have to break the tyre away from the wheel, push down on the tyre close to the rim until it breaks the beade, repeat this on both sides of The wheel, next using some levers to remove the tyre place 1lever between the wheel just inside the tyre with the valve about 3inches to the right working away from valve place in another lever about two inches away from the other1 just inside the tyre again and push down on the lever pulling the tyre overthe wheel, keep doing this all around the wheel untill the tyre o emoved

Are the brakes on the back of a gsf 600s should be as sharp as the front

No, the front brakes should always be stronger, the back tyre doesn't have as much grip as the front and as such needs less braking power.

Front brake pads are not resting on the rim

Getting hand-brakes adjusted correctly is often a challenge, but they are adjustable with the right size wrenches. On the other hand, a front hand-brake on a child's one-speed bike is not necessary and is only on the bike to give it sales-appeal. If this is a one-speed bike, then it has a coaster brake (operated by pushing the pedals backwards). Actually the coaster brake is much safer than a front hand brake anyway. If the child applies the coaster brake too heavily, they will just skid. If they apply the front brake too heavily, they will go over the handlebars. If the hand brake is not interfering with the front wheel and is just not very effective, I would just leave it as-is. If the brakes rub on the tire, you should adjust them so they don't rub the tire.

Disc rub on brake pads

Hi,
First be sure the calipers are working properly. Test by pushing the brake hard and then spin the wheel. If this is new and it rubs - look closely and be sure it isn't the bend tab or warning tab rubbing. If they are old brakes replace as this is the warning you are needing to replace.
IF new - and they still rub - remove and inspect - be sure there is not a 'bend or warning tab' that is rubbing.
If there is no tab rubbing - you can SAND [ with sand paper] the BRAKE PAD carefully and squarely. I suggest you take these to a professional as the items I describe should be caught by a beginner.

Suzuki Bandit 600GSF 1999. The front brake need loosening as they are binding on the discs. How do I do this

Is this disk or drum? Drum, loosen the cable

Disk - I dont think you can loosen it. they are suppose to self release.

There is a good possibility that your 10 year + old bike needs front brake service for possible corrosion problems.

How do I do a simple brake pad swap? Front on a 600cc bandit, for what that matters.

easy. take a "C" clamp and squeeze the break piston all the way back in the caliper keeping the old brake pads on when u do it so u dont screw up the piston. then put the new pads on and reinstall the caliper. then pump up the brakes
