Everything you want to know about the bike can be found in the VIN number (letter). In this case pay attention to the 10th digit (reading left to right). This may help too: http://www.suzukicycles.org/Bandit-series/GSF400-Bandit.shtml
Good hunting....
May be the pistons in the caliper are pushed to one side. It should sort it's self with normal use. But to chack set the bike on main stand and with the front wheel in the air spin the wheel to see if the disc is warped or thw bearings are gone in the wheel hub.
The adjustment you were doing was the horizontal (left/right) adjust. The vertical adjust is under the cowling. With the bike parked, and the wheel turned left, look down the hole in front of the handlebars, below the tach. You can see the nut (allen key type) to the left of the plug-in for the bulb. Hope this helps. I have a 2005 Bandit 650S.
easy. take a "C" clamp and squeeze the break piston all the way back in the caliper keeping the old brake pads on when u do it so u dont screw up the piston. then put the new pads on and reinstall the caliper. then pump up the brakes
No. The gs500 has rotor on right side. 600s have two rotors. The following website will let you compare part numbers. http://www.suzukipartshouse.net/pages/parts/viewbybrand/parts.aspx
