My sewing machine can no longer pick up the bobbin thread. Furthermore, the needle is scrapping against something below the bobbin thread holder. I have changed the needle in case of a bent one, and all attempts have yielded the same problem.
I believe the problem may be resolved with retiming my Singer, but I have no idea how to under take this. If someone could provide from ideas and possibly help for retiming, it would be greatly appreciated.

Be sure needle is inserted correctly with the flat side in the proper position. Rethread the machine and try again. If it still won't work you have a timing problem which requires a technician or a good mechanic.

The bobbin case of my Singer 9020 sewing machine got jammed and now it can no longer pick up the bobbin thread. I've order a new bobbin case, but I think the timing might be off aswell.

We have a singer 221k sewing machine . And Its not picking up tyhe bobbin thread either. So annoying :(. Does anyone know how to solve this?
