My mircophone is not working on my MSI laptop

Hi,

on the lower right side where the time is, right click on the Speaker icon then select properties, from there you should see the options regarding you speaker and the mic settings on the system. Make sure that the microphone is set for the Default Device unless you have a different software for the Microphone......

Check right next to the camera it should be a small hole right next to it. If its there then you have a problem with skype.

click on start then go to control panel then go sound and audio devices then go to voice and test hardware hopefully this helps should work

i have a msi cr420 laptop and i am having problem with my laptop's web camera . .whenever i want to use my camera the computer prompts me the message "NO CAMERA FOUND" what should i do?? i am running a windows 7 ultimate 32bit operating system . .please do help me . .

I have just fixed this on my sons acer aspire one notebook

what i did was :-

go to

start
programes
down to acer empowering technology
then over to and click on
acer erecovery management
wait a few seconds
a box will open up saying acer erovery management
click on the reinstall applications/drivers
click on contents
then go down to and click on the green install bar for the realtek audio
windows will go throught the process of reloading the audio driver

that should now of fixed the microphone problem and if you write these instruction down they may be useful for other problems
also you now know where to restore back to factory settings as well
but if you ever do that please make sure to save any files or photos that you want onto a spare drive or burn to disk because a factory restore will loose everything and take it back to when you ist bought it and you will need to set it all up again and can be a long winded process but sometimes neccessary

it will be on the top of the inside cover just a tiny hole it could also be on bottom as your screen is open look for a pin hole there may be tqo if it has built in mic

You may need to adjust the sound sttings for this device. Also, check to see if you have the drivers this device.

Hopefully ur warranty is still good on your laptop, if so you could have MSI send you a new keyboard-replacing it is not as hard as you think...just a couple of screws holding it down.

mircophone of ur phone is damaged. take ur phone to the technician and ask him to change mircophone
