I am trying to set up an account and profile but cant figure it out

Go to http://www.facebook.com
Fill out the form on the front page, first name, last name, email address, etc. Press 'sign up'.
You will then have to type in some words that appear in a picture, as a security test. Press 'sign up' again.

this is all i can help you with the I9 and I68 are iphone look alikes. i actually have a i68 with the i9 firmware going to try an I9 3g soon. these settings may work, worth a try .

WAP

***First Step***
1.Main menu --> Select Services
3.Select Data Account --> Select GPRS
5.Select the first entry
6.Edit the account name to whatever you would like
7.Edit APN to wap.cingular (lowercase)
8.Edit Username to [email protected] (UPPERCASE)
9.Edit Password to CINGULAR1 (UPPERCASE)
10.Edit Auth Type. to Secure
11. Save

Select Back --> Select Back

***Second Step***

Select WAP
1.Select Settings --> Edit Profile
3.Select the first entry --> Edit Profile
5.edit the name to whatever you would like
6.Edit Homepage to http://device.home
7.Edit Data Account to the Name you established in the First Step
8.Edit Connection type to HTTP
9.The IP address is 066.209.011.032 and the port number is 8080
10.Edit Username to [email protected]
11.Edit Password to CINGULAR1
Select back or done
Select Activate Account


You should now see a Black [G] in the upper left of your screen.

MMS

Select Messages --> MMS --> Message Settings
Select Server Profile
Select the first entry
Select Edit Profile
Edit Rename Profile to whatever name you would like
Edit Home Page to http://mmsc.cingular.com
Edit Data Account to the same data account you created for WAP
Edit Connection Type to HTTP the IP address is 066.209.011.032 and the port is 8080
Edit the Username to [email protected] (UPPERCASE)
Edit the Password to CINGULAR1 (UPPERCASE)

Select Done or Save
Make sure to activate the profile and you are good.

Getting "GPRS NOT SUBSCRIBED" message

Data Account Setup:
From the Main Menu select > Services > Data Account > GPRS
Scroll to an empty account (IE: Account icon_cool.gif and select Edit
Set Account Name to T-Mobile Internet
Set APN to internet2.voicestream.com
Leave Username and Password blank
Press Done
Select Yes to Save
WAP Profile Setup:
From the Main Menu select > Services > WAP > Settings
Select Edit Profile
Scroll to an empty profile (IE: Profile icon_cool.gif and select Edit Profile
Set Profile Name to T-Mobile Internet
Set Homepage to http://www.t-mobile.com
Select Data Account > GPRS > T-Mobile Internet
Set Connection Type to HTTP
Leave Proxy blank
Leave Port blank
Leave Username and Password blank
Press Done
When Prompted to Save select Yes
Scroll to T-Mobile Internet and select Activate Profile
To Access the Browser:
From the Main Menu select > Services > WAP
Select Homepage to bring up the homepage
Select Enter Address to browse other pages

  • Press Options

  • Note: i think it depends on the features on account. Assuming it will be internet for full internet.

System won't go past profile page..stuck

It seems that the Guest account profile is corrupted because of which you are unable to log in as like in previously.

In the Profile Login page, hold the Ctrl and Alt keys and press the Del key twice.

This will give you a window where you need to enter the User name and Password.

Enter the User name as administrator and leave the password column blank if you have not set any Password to the administrator account or enter the Administrator password if you have set any.

Now once you are loged into the Administrator account, create a new User from the Control Panel > User Accounts.

Set the required limitatios to the account like limited account or administrator account and log off from the administrator account.

Now, you should have the newly created user account available in the login page. Select it and you should be able to login.

Try this. Depending on the HiPhone though, it may not work or may be different.

Create Data Account:

  • Select Menu

  • Press Options
  • Press Done
  • Set APN to wap.voicestream.com
  • Press Options
  • Press Done

  • Set Auth. Type to Normal
  • Press Done
  • Press Save


Create Profile:

  • Select Menu
  • Select Services (Sometimes, Entertainment > Services)
  • Select WAP
  • Select Settings
  • Select Edit Profile

  • Rename Profile to T-Zones
  • Set Homepage to wap.myvoicestream.com
  • Set Data Account select GPRS

To send and receive emails via your LG Prada phone you will first need to set up an email account Send and Receive emails on your LG Prada phone by setting up an email account.
