I just bought a hiphone a88 and I'm trying to set up my internet browser using my t-mobile connection. Any ideas on how to do it?

I think the problem here may be that the hiphone will not allow an ip address to be saved which ends with only two characters like "000.000.000.00", I have the hiphone 4gs++, and it won't allow me to save my required ip address which is " 212.183.137.12" if anyone has a solution please help!
There is couple things you have to do. 1)go to wap settings. 2) then link settings.choose top link. 3) user name and password needs to be blank. 4) access point needs to read " internet2.voicestream.com " 5)gateway needs to read 216.155.165.050 6)port needs to read 8080 then press "set as default" and you should be good to go.

I tried them steps and when i go to type in the ip address
216.155.165.50 when i go to do it it wont let me have .50 at the end, it keeps a 2 before it and ive tried changing from.250 to.050
When i try and go onto homepage it says connection failed.

I am in South Africa and i have been trying to set up my Hiphone Pocket Pc T169 , to have internet and be able to receive MMS. But i have no luck with getting someone here who knows how, i even sent my cell to my service provider which is MTN but they couldnt help. Please help
hi i just recieved the hiphone I32 yesterday and i was no idea how to set up the internet....I used your help which you posted on here but i dont have the same menus as you.....And also how do i recieve picture messages and also my phone is the handwriting one but i cant find out how to do it. Also can you add more applications to this phone? like games? i know it does not come with any but can you maybe buy software or something? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

(THIS IS IN REFERENCE TO THE HI PHONE)I also tried putting the ip address in and it will not let me put 050 it will only let me put 250 could you let me know if these numbers are correct i am really trying to get on my internet service.
