Plugged my brand new voyager in and sync'd it to my pc with the v-cast essentials cdrom, started copying my first song on to the phone from the vcast music manager, and all the sudden the computer said that my phone was disconnected from it. I unplugged the phone, tried to touch into the music menu, and the phone just shuts off everytime. I am so mad!! Please help.

Figured it out. turns out my cheesy 1 gig sndisk memory card in my voyager is a bit too cheesy for the phone. took the disk out, tried to get into my music , worked fine. the guys at the verizon store told me it could also be that the voyager would rather have mp3 files than wma files, and it crashed it with the first wma i tried to sync. who knows. either way, for all you voyager users out there, i would really suggest spending the extra money on a high end 4 gig or more memory card for your phone, because as the verizon people said, these phones are "so sick", that the cheesy stuff messes with the software..

Are these Avaya phones incompatible with blue tooth headsets such as a Voyager Blue Tooth headset? I bought two new Voyager headsets that won't sync, but they each sync on another type of phone.

Yes, those are analog phones.

Do you have the Voyager base station? That should be able to plug into the phone via the curly cords.
The headset then syncs up with the Voyager base station.

Transfering music to my motorola z6m phone using a usb cable

Another way to do it is to drag & drop. Since it's telling you that your PC reconizes the cell (assuming your using windows XP) hit start, my computer, then with you USB cord connected your cell will show up here along with C: D: ect. (can't tell you what it will be named), find which one is your cell, double click that one. Make this window smaller, open your music window, make it smaller, click on the song you want & while holding the mouse down drag it into the window for your cell, it will be copied.
If this helps you plz rate this 'fixya', thank you kindly. If you need more help post comment, I'll be glad to help you more.

I want to download songs onto my new LG Vantage. Do I use the USB? Is the USB port the same as where I charge it?

Hi!
You could use either micro sd card to add music to your lg vantage or usb cable. Add music to the micro sd card using the card reader(present in laptops or can be bought seprately) or use usb cable to connect your phone, open it, you would see a folder named music or songs, Now drag or copy your favourite songs into your phone.

Note if a folder named music doesn't exist then don't worry just copy the music and paste it.

Thanks

How do I download songs FROM phone TO pc? thanks!

There are several ways of doing that grh450. One, connect it to the computer via usb cord. The pc will detect it as a storage device, from there you have to open the storage device and manually copy and paste the songs you like from the phone to the pc desktop. The method of transfer will depend on the handset model. What kind of phone do you have?

I jst recently bought a 2 gb san disc card for my phone n was wondering how to and where i can get music onto it. please help asap

The easiest was is to use a USB card reader. The range for $20 - $50 at consumer electronics stores and are pocket-able. These have drag and drop functionality to where all you have to do is copy and paste the song you would like onto your memory card.

Another way would be to use Windows Media Player 10 or 11. Both have the "Sync" tabs at the top of the program making it easy to sync songs to your phone. You have to make sure that the phone can be plugged in USB-style to the computer.
