I unplugged the phone, tried to touch into the music menu, and the phone just shuts off everytime. I am so mad!! Please help.

Figured it out. turns out my cheesy 1 gig sndisk memory card in my voyager is a bit too cheesy for the phone. took the disk out, tried to get into my music , worked fine. the guys at the verizon store told me it could also be that the voyager would rather have mp3 files than wma files, and it crashed it with the first wma i tried to sync. who knows. either way, for all you voyager users out there, i would really suggest spending the extra money on a high end 4 gig or more memory card for your phone, because as the verizon people said, these phones are "so sick", that the cheesy stuff messes with the software..

Kazaa music for Verizon compatability

As far as downloading songs with the internet, yes, VCast is your only choice for Verizon.
However, you are free to sideload your .mp3 formatted files from your computer to your phone via a microSD card, or data cable, no matter where they came from.
If you're going to use a memory card, you'll need to insert it into the phone and format it (its under Menu > Settings > Memory usually). Then make sure that you only load the files into the music folder for them to work.

How to move or download a music file to be a ringtone

This option allows you to transfer music files from your PC. In order to use this option, you must install V CAST Music with Rhapsody on your PC. 1. Open V CAST Music with Rhapsody software. Don’t have V CAST MUSIC with Rhapsody software? Download it for free at www.verizonwireless.com/music. 2. Install the device USB drivers before connecting your phone to a PC. USB Cable and Device Drivers can be purchased separately via the Music Essentials Kit compatible with this device. 3. From the main screen on your phone, the SYNC MUSIC V CAST MOBILE PHONE display appears. Your phone should display the message: Connected. Connection may take a few seconds. 4. Drag and drop the song(s) you want to sync from My Library, to your V CAST Music with Rhapsody mobile phone, listed under the Sources tab. Once synchronization is complete, press the END/Power Key and disconnect the USB cable (purchased separately). 5. Under the Music & Tones menu, open My Music to view and play your music. • A compatible USB cable (sold separately) is required for syncing. • Music can also be purchased via V CAST Music with Rhapsody through your PC.
Hope this helps, let me know if I can help you with anything else.

Putting Music on LG enV

If you buy an SD card for your phone, you can put it in your computer, transfer the songs you want over, and then put it in your phone. The music still plays through VCAST, but you don't have to pay. :]

I don't know how to transfer music from my pc to ly lg venus phone

You first need to download the software from here http://www.vzam.net/vcastmusic/

The V-Cast PC program will search your hard drive for music to collect into its database - a step you may skip - and then open up a browser not unlike iTunes. From V-Cast you can purchase new music, transfer tunes from CD or move music to the Venus. Using the included USB plug, the Venus will sync with the PC. Drag and drop songs or full albums or playlists into the designated Venus area on the PC screen. Each song transfers in about five seconds. Like the iPod, the Venus will also automatically charge when connected to a PC - still a rarity among music phones today.

Get pictures and video off phone to the computer

Preparation ? if an external Micro SD external memory card is to be used as the desired music/video/picture repository on the W755, install the card in the W755 behind the battery. Then go to SETTINGS & TOOLS ? MEMORY ? CARD MEMORY ? FORMAT and format the new card. Caution: reformatting the card will wipe out all contents on the SD card. Download/install free Motorolla Handset USB Driver Installer onto the PC (execute ?.msi? file). Download/install free VCast/Rhapsody software (no need to actually sign in or use the proprietary Rhapsody service). Start the VCast/Rhapsody software. Turn on cell phone (works with W755 and may work with other Verizon ?music phones? such as LG Chocolate, but the latter was not tested). Connect phone to PC ? connect USB cable to PC?s USB port first, then connect USB cable to phone . Be patient, it may take a minute to fully ?connect? in the phone?s display. Go to ?Sources? section of VCast/Rhapsody GUI screen ? the phone will register as a directory title using a name roughly like ?VCast xxx.? Windows Explorer will also show a ?VCast? drive/directory device. Files can be selected and dragged to and from source and target directories. At this point various options exist regarding music, picture, video management: 1.) The VCast/Rhapody software can be used to manage music, picture, and videos between the PC and phone. Again, no need to use the VCast service, just the software offline. 2.) Alternatively, other music management software such as Media Monkey (a personal favorite) can be used to move music, create playlists, etc. ? NOTE: Leave VCast/Rhapsody software running in the background as a means to ?connect.? It is best to start VCast, then plug in phone, then start other media management software so that the media management software will benefit from the connection (usually with a directory name using some variation of ?VCast.? Then use the alternative media management software as usual. Please note, this is a generalization based on success using basic software like Media Monkey, for example.

LG CHOCOLATE VCAST MUSIC TROUBLE

Vcast will only find certain types of files. It will not recognize many formats that you may be using. I'm assuming this is the problem here... If you can find the songs you want to have on the phone you can then convert them to MP3 with a converter and place it where the Vcast software and then it should work.

Sync Manager Problme with Vista with LG CU500

The problem is a driver issue. It is strictly a LG/Verizon problem, and not Windows. What you should is hook up your phone your computer LG USB cable and using the Music Essentials CD-ROM.

Install the latest version of BitPim where  you can find at http://www.bitpim.org/ .
"I hooked up my phone to my computer via the USB cable, and opened BitPim. Much to my dismay, bitpim did not find the COM for the LG Modem".

However, Vista popped up the window in the taskbar telling me that new hardware was detected but could not be installed. I went to Start > Search > Device Manager
Once the Device Manager is opened up, you should see an unknown hardware profile for the USB cable/phone. In my case, Vista seemed to recognize the fact that it was a LG USB Modem, but didn't have the driver. Anyway, right click on the unknown driver and select "update driver software." Surprisingly, Vista will tell you it found a driver. Unfortunately, when when you go to install the driver 2 new unknown drivers will appear.

To fix the 2 unknown drivers, all you have to do is insert the VCAST Music Essentials disk into your disk drive, and point Windows in the direction of the files for the drivers on the VCast Music Essentials CD (in my case, the D: drive).

Windows finished the install, and from their BitPim recognized the cable on COM5.
That should work.
