Even though the fans are running it doesn't mean the power supply is ok. Buy a PSU tester or bring it to a computer shop to have the power supply tested.
If you stole power from the ignition, you may have interrupted the VATS antitheft system. Look for a light that says "security". If you see this light, go to this link. http://vatspasslockpasskeysecurityhelp.yolasite.com/
your coolant temp sender could be bad. locate the temp sender. this is a 1 wire sensor. the other sensor in the block has 2 wires and starts the cooling fan.
Hello, That condenser fan motor needs to be replaced. You and doing the right thing as far as using a seperate fan to keep compressor cool, buy replacing the fan the compressor will run cooler and click off by being too hot as you have heard/seen.
Find your model number and call your local appliance parts store and see if they have a CONDERSER FAN MOTOR in stock
you need to run a virus scan it sounds as though you have gotten a virus if that isent the problem then try restoring the computer with your restore disc
Maybe the problem is condensation. The globe gets all fogged up and the snow pellets start sticking to the plastic and it just looks like a mess. Temperature might be less of a concern where you are, but it is something to consider. I had briefly thought of putting something like a hair dryer in line with the main fan to keep the inside temperature up. But it turned out to be more of a problem than I wanted to deal with. Good luck though!
hmm, it's very possible that the new fan is unable to spin fast enough to draw enough heat away fast enough. I'm guessing that this a separate video card and not the onboard video of the motherboard? and, is it the video card fan that is making all the noise?
