Yes as you said, processor and Ram installed, no hard drive, no keyboard, no mouse, no pci card.
Checked to see whether it passes POST, but no still stops with ACEr Logo.
Processor looks ok, checked for the heat, its doing so.
Any board issues, apart from that, don't have extra Video card, otherwise i would hav tested that one too.
Its a removable bios, I tried removing and putting it back, still it stops with ACER Logo

Motherboard is not booting up properly. Often a bad peripheral will cause a mother board to just shut down the moment you turn it on.
Disconnect everything including hard drive from board and turn unit on. If it goes past the acer logo then something you disconnected is responsible - if no change, the problem is with the mo bo. or a corrupted cmos.
"How do I perform a Factory Data Reset if my Acer ICONIA TAB A500 does not boot? The
following steps will erase all of your personal information, all stored
contacts and any programs you have installed on your tablet. 1.Power off the tablet. 2.Press and hold the Volume up button, which is located closest to the touch screen lock switch. 3.With
the Volume up button held, press and hold the Power button for 3
seconds then release it. Continue holding the Volume up button. 4.Once the tablet vibrates, switch the touch screen lock switch on and off repeatedly while still holding the Volume up button. 5.Release
the Volume up button and stop switching the touch screen lock switch
once the "Erasing Userdata..." message appears in the upper left corner
of the screen. 6.Once the factory reset has been completed your
tablet will load to the Welcome screen. 7.Your Factory Data Reset has
completed now follow the onscreen steps to setup your tablet."
Apparently your Acer cannot find the operating system. As soon as the Acer logo comes up, there should appear in one of the bottom corners "F" & a number should appear. Immediately start pressing that F number (top row of keyboard). This should take you to a boot screen. Scroll down to boot sequence. Hit enter. Make sure boot-up sequence is CD or floppy drive first, second should be HDD, then escape. Restart computer. Should then boot off CD drive. I am assuming you have an operating system (XP, windows, etc.). Let me know if this doesn't work.
What you were trying to do tried to remove the RAM and boot your pc. Buddy once you remove your RAM you are going to get long beeps as it tells there is no RAM on mother board and it won't boot. Just install back all the things and let me know how many beeps you are getting and what type short and long.
Well, Firstly this might be a extreme case but is to reformat your hard
drive removing any manufactures partition, and reinstalling the
Operating System, but what i would do first is the go to
start---run---(type this command and hit enter)"msconfig" the system
configuration window should pop up. Go to the boot tab and place check
mark in the box which says "No GUI boot" you mat also change the
timeout seconds there too. hit apply then OK and reboot your system.
please explain further. keeps going black from where? after turning on the laptop? of after windows logo? if after windows logo screen turns black if a no boot issue where laptop cannot load system files. if screen is black after turning on no manufacturer logo and windows logo or anything then it might be the LCD or video card / motherboard. to isolate try connecting your laptop to an external monitor and check if you will be getting the same problem. if no display from the external monitor then its a video card issue, if video card is integrated needs to replace motherboard.
All this info can be found on the computer once she's up and running. Just go to System info under "Help" section. They know you didn't need to see that sticker for the info.
I would believe it's a problem with your motherboard. If you warranty covers it, tell Acer about the problem and have someone fix it. Otherwise, find a PC repair shop near you, and take it in to have it tested. Make sure you figure out what is wrong exactly before you buy new parts if you take it to a repair shop.
