How to download my pictures off my motorola V3 phone to my Vista Computer

I do not have a disk that was not in the pack when I bought my phone . When I plug in my phone to my computer it said to get intouch with motorola for directions? What can I do with out buying the disk that was not with my phone? Help cant download

I cant get the usb to recognize the phone evenn after doing alll the gyratuions in the owners guide... Why cant we simply download the pictures?
