You can not sharpen these blades. To sharpen them, you would have to be able to remove each blade frm the plastic cartridge tht holds them. This type blades are manufactured in such a way that there is no way to take out each of the two individual blades without breaking the part that holds them.

Does the Norelco 725RL corded razor have self-sharpening blades? I understand that it uses HQ4 plus replacement blades. Are they self-sharpening?

The HQ4 blades are self-sharpening. The manufacturer also suggests changing these every 12 months.

If you require new HQ4 blades, you will find them available at shaveroutlet.com. See link below

Clipper blade sharpeners are availale but the cost of these typically start at about $300 and go as high as several thousand dollars. This makes it unaffordable for home use.
For affordable, professional clipper blade sharpening, I suggest you contact the folks at clipperparts.com

Your clipper moves at just one speed. There is no way to 'speed it up' if it is working correctly.

Hi, used a blade sharpener for my a2 horse clipper blades and they are still blunt. Do i sharpen between the teeth

no . The blades are sharpened by grinding away the base of the wear until the edges between the teeth are sharp. It also necessary for the tension between the cutting blades is correct other wise the cutting teeth ride up over the hair and will not cut. Have a person who does sharpening of knives ,scissors and blades sharpen the clippers for you as the machine will get it right.
