How do I adjust the blades or sharpen blades on a Andis T-Outliner trimmer? I have some older blades that work farely better then my newer blades that are dull if you ask me. Is there some way to manuver the blades to make coil go faster? Are there sharpeners on the market to purchase to sharper Andis blades?

This Andis model is not very good for shaving,I purchase one before didn't do the job. sound like your clipper blades may require sharpening, just remove the blades and send them to a professional company specialising in scissor and clipper sharpening.

When was the last time you had this trimmer service by a professional, also these type of trimmers need to be adjusted more often than any other trimmer. if your are barber you know that the trimmer is working hard every day. without the proper sharpening equipment or tools need to do the adjustment. You really can't solve the problem. I will tell what wrong, the coil needs to be adjust to the magnetic shunt arm for voltage and the blade needs to be sharpen and place on the trimmer and adjust according to power add to the trimmer.

On the Andis T-Outliner or Outliner if you have use the trimmer for more than 3 hair cuts or 3 time or more I do not recommend moving the blade, reason why is that you have all ready start or have a sit in or a grooved, I have found that by moving the blade it won't cut at all.You need to resharpen the blade with a professional sharpener and have them reset the blade for the type of hair cut you want. The blade can be set to shave or do line ups, and Fades. This type of trimmer is for that kind of hair cut the professional barber use them all the time.
