Help with install on clarion vrx935vd

Clapster is right on those steps.
Also, to check those speakers...try these steps:

Open your car speaker covers and pull out the speakers.
Once out, you can see which wires are connected to that speaker.
Writes them down, now do the other four.

First, you must disconnect the car battery when working on wires or removing the radio out or installing.

I love Clarion
1st RED is + direct to battery
Yellow is + pwr to ignition so when you turn the car off the radio can still say on if you choose
black is - and ground
these are importantant first. once you have pwr you can easily work out which of the 8 other wires are pairs 2 frnt spkrs and 2 back speakers if theres 2 extra plugs for the amp or woofer(if screws run a nice thick speaker wire. But with Clarion I dont beleive you need an amp or woofer thats how good they are just have kickass speakers frnt an back
you should be able 2 find the pwr cables from the existin radio if not the yellow wire leads to the igniton and you can run a red wire staight to the battery and screw the black wire to the metal chasis(oh the blue wire is for a pwr antenna or aux and is not needed unless youve got a pwr antenna.
your speaker color code will be like eg.grey and grey with white stripe,will be one pair green another pair ,but the 4 spker pairs are skinner than th pwr cables
Spkrs have a + and - too the difference is you cant blow the spkr by trial and error its just if its wrong it will sound muffled so try both ways then youll know whats best. pwr must be correct make sure red on red and blacks on black then press on then play with your speakers then find the yellow cable that runs to the ignition then to the radio so when you turn the ign the radio comes on and when you turn the motor off you can turn the radio on cos youve also got a direct to battery connection.
