SD card wont load on my t-mobile G1

So my SD card wont load on my G1. i even bought a new SD card..4gb from a 1 gb...and it still wont load. it keeps saying "removed SD card." i have been taking others advise by hooking it up to the usb cord to my laptop but nothing is loading..nothing will show up. i looked every where on my laptop to see if it was hidden...nothing. i dont know what to do!!! i dont have any money, i just want it to be fixed!!!
Oh and by the way, every day it has its moments where it tries to load the SD card...i think...and for hours the android sign will keep popping up. then i cant use my phone at all unless i hook it up to a charger. it really makes me mad. and i cant keep doing this everyday...it is a HUGE pain! PLEASE SOMEBODY HELP ME!!

Thanks, Leah!!

Try to go to a free check up cellphone repair...

check if your sd card slot is working fine...

if not you know now what is the problem...

but before it...try to fix it by yourself...just make some little adjustments...

Most likely i.m.o. your 4Gb card is a SDHC card. Only a few 4 Gb cards are made as SD in the beginning after they crossed the 2 Gb line. You can't buy them anymore. So to use a 4 Gb ore more, you need a SDHC or better a SDXC reader.

Same as yours

The Z740 supports only MultiMediaCards & SD Memory Cards. 4GB and larger SD cards are usually SDHC (Secure Digital High Capacity) types - and bear the SDHC mark on the label. These cards are not compatible with this camera. Use only MMC and SD cards. SD cards are 2 GB and under - although *some* 4 GB cards are marked as SD too; these cards may or may not work. If you purchase a 4 GB SD (not SDHC) card, make sure that it can be returned if it doesn't work reliably in your camera.

Sansa c240 and a 4 GB Micro SD HC card.

Sansa C240 can only read SD cards that are NOT SDHC - that means it can only read up to a 2gb Micros SD card.

Recocnizing micro sd card

The original Blackjack will not recognize anything larger than 2gb. Sorry, but you just wasted buying those 4 gb. cards. I found this out the hard way too when I bought my daughter a 4gb card for her Blackjack. I have a BJ2 which will recognize the 4gb cards.

G1 wont take pictures

I  had a similar problem, I fixed mine by formatting the SD Card in my computer, installing it into my G1, then restarting. You miss out on whatever was on the SD Card from Google, but at least you get to use the camera.

Hope this helps, Eric
P.S. I've called tech support to see if I can re-download whatever was on my SD Card to begin with, and as of yet there is nowhere they could direct me to, to download whichever files were stored there.

Cant use 4gb sd card in my camera why?

The D50 works with SD cards. Your 4GB card is actually an SDHC card. While it fits into the slot, it will only work with devices specifically designed to accept SDHC cards. The D50 wasn't. It only works with SD cards, 2GB and smaller.

4G micro SD

i had the same problem, my 2 gb would work ok but not my 4gb i have heard that the 4gb wont work on the older r4's, so i bought a ds Lite R4 Revolution III (Version 3) from amazon.co.uk and it came with evrything you need and it worked great the address is https://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_ss_w_h_/275-1618189-4849908?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=DS+Lite+R4+Revolution+III+%28Version+3%29&x=14&y=15

SD Card Wont Work

Check if the SD card is iserted properly into the camera, eventually pull it out and push it back inside the camera. Also remove camera batteries , repeat the operation, and put back batteries.
If the card still does not work test the card into a different device, it is not unfrequent that an SD card comes defective from factory. In this case take the card back to the retailer and a have it changed.
If the card works on a different device, then it may be that the NV3 does not support 4 GB , there is no mention about max SD format supported in camera specs, or in the manual. In this case I suggest testing a 1 or 2 Gb card at the shop, and then buying right one.
