My CD player on my 03 Chevy Trailblazer has had a check CD on it and will not play any CDs even if there not a burned CD i heard it might be something internally where could i bring this to try and fix the problem without spending alot of money?

Check other players to see if plays on any player. I had a computer once that kept defaulting to "data CD" no matter what I was burning, so I had to manually go to the setting and set it for "music".

it's the format that you are burning your cds in...read the info in your burning program to make sure you are making regular cds and not mp3 or aac or wma formats...

no the cd player wont play cds that have been burned from computer to play them you have to change to a different cd player

the CD player is a clever one thats looking for the copyright on the CD .Try using nero to burn the cd that oftens fools the player ,or an old computer with windows 98 on it with a copy of the old nero or windows media player that come with windows 98 as the later versions will not work with a lot of expensive players .if it has a line in plug then use a i pod or your mobile phone ,if it has a tape player then use a cassete with the wire coming out that plugs into a audio device ,i use my mobile phone which has a 1gb memory card in my jag as i have the same problem with the cd player ,also in the every day car my escort i use this as iam fed up with having the window broke and cd player nicked .But i have found that burning cds with an old computer with windows 98 i can burn cds that will play in the jag ,not that i use it a lot cant affords the petrol here in spain at 5 dollars a gallon

if over 60 minutes they will not play in a vehicle. 60 minutes and less will play

Dirty CDs can skip or just stop playing For best results, use a CD cleaning fluid and anti-static cloths made for cleaning CDs. If these tips don't help you might have to buy another copy of your CD, but first try it in another player because some CD players are more sensitive than others to scratches.The last option is to replace the CD Head by taking to a nearest service provider.

Are you trying to Play Burned CD's???? If Not, This IS a Common Problem on Chevy CD Players, My 95' Silverado went out and it was going to cost as Much for a New one as for an Aftermarket. Went Aftermarket. A LOT of people are having the Same Problems.
