Have a W and T 1600 with the latest Mac drivers (1.8.5.3)installed. After I calibrate on "best" mode some areas of the board are spot on but other areas, especially within 2-3 inches of the edges the calibration is off as much a 1/2 inch. We are using MacBooks running 10.5.8 and projecting from an Epson PowerLite 83+. In our school we have over 30 WT 1600's but there seems to be just one board with this situation.

Manual Compass Calibration If the compass appears erratic and the calibration symbol does not appear, you must manually put the compass into the calibration mode. To get into this mode, do the following: 1. Turn the ignition on and cycle the DIC to the compass/temperature mode. 2. Press and hold the SET button for longer than three seconds. ZONE # PRESS & HOLD SET TO CHANGE: This display mode will be displayed when you are manually calibrating the system. The current zone number for compass variance will be displayed in place of the # symbol. Use the SET button to select the zone number from the graphic shown to select the current area of the country that you are driving in. PRESS SET TO CALIBRATE COMPASS: After selecting your zone, press the MODE button and this will be displayed on the DIC. Press the SET button and complete three 360 degree turns in an area free from large metal objects. For those having the "Executes calibration. Pull out the film and place the Film Adapter Unit at Frame 1." issue and cannot calibrate the scanner for NEGATIVE FILM, it took me ages to figure out how to solve it.
Solution: calibrate the frame, WITHOUT any film, adapter plug and placed in frame 1, and proceed to do the calibration WITH THE SCANNER COVER OPEN.
Before I tried everyhing, install new drivers for Windows 8.1, MP Navigator, and nothing happen. Now it works like the first day. Hope it helps! it certainly helped me.
i.e. stuck in calibration mode.
1. Press & Hold PROGRAM INTERVAL, SPEED DOWN and POWER
2. Release SPEED DOWN only (must hear a beep or repeat 1 &2)
3. Release the other two
4. Press PROGRAM INTERVAL (treadmill will move up or down)
5. Press PROGRAM INTERVAL (treadmill will move up or down)
Calibration is complete. Enjoy your exercise!

Calibration is one of the functions performed from the Printer Assistant icon on the desktop. If the Printer Assistant icon on the desktop has been deleted from the system, the same tasks can also be accomplished from the Printer Toolbox . The Printer Toolbox can be accessed through the Printer Folder or by right-clicking the Printer Icon on the Taskbar
Please follow these steps to calibrate your printer
Double-click the Printer Assistant icon on the desktop. The Printer Assistant menu will appear with a list of options
Select the Tools and Updates option or the Utilities option (depending on your driver version).
Printer Maintenance menu will appear.
Select the Calibrate Printer tab from the Printer Maintenance options
Click the Calibrate tab. The printer will print the first calibration page.
In the Cartridge alignment page, please inspect the straight colored lines in Sections A, B, C and D . Choose the straightest lines in each section to indicate the best cartridge alignment.
In the Page alignment area, please verify Section E . Then, select the bar and the arrow closest to the edge of the page without being cut off, to indicate the best page alignment.
In the Calibrate Device window, enter the selected alignment values in the Pen Alignment and in the Page Alignment fields and click the Continue tab
The second calibration page will be printed now. The page will contain two patterns: a square and a cross . The lines on the patterns should be horizontally and vertically aligned . Click the Done tab if the lines are correct or the Calibrate tab to repeat the calibration process
The first calibration page contains five sets of alignment patterns. The calibration will cover two areas of alignment. The Cartridge alignment is designed to obtain the best print quality and the Page alignment is designed to ensure that the print is aligned correctly on the page.
If the Printer Assistant and its files have been deleted from the system, the maintenance features in the Tools and Updates section of the Printer Assistant are also available in the Printer Toolbox . Open the Printer Toolbox and perform the services by following the instructions below:
Right-click the Printer Icon on the Taskbar .
Click Open the Deskjet Toolbox option.
Select the Printing Service tab in the Printer Toolbox .
Choose the Calibrate the printer option.
NOTE:HP recommends to use HP plain paper when performing the cartridges calibration process.
NOTE:These printers could work with one or two print cartridges. HP recommends to perform the cartridge calibration process with the two cartridges installed in order to get the best print quality. Anyway, the printer can also be calibrated with one cartridge installed if the customer decides to work in that way.
1 Check that your label size definition is correct, measure your label height in mm and check that your printer driver settings match.
2 Perform a calibration. How?? when printer is on labels loaded and green light, hold feed key and wait for 2 blinks then release feed key. (If you release it after 1 flash you will print a configuration label)
3 If you are using Zebra Designer, download latest version of Zdesigner V2. Install latest printer driver V2.63. This driver & Zdesigner allows you to calibrate the printer directly from within Zdesigner. Go to File/Printer settings/ advanced options and click calibrate at bottom of page. when printer calibrates then tick the box USE PRINTER SETTINGS and printer will now work properly.
I had the same problem when upgrading to mac os x. I was trying to scan directly from Photoshop but got the calibration message. I tried the two solutions given at the Canon website but they didn't work. I ended up downloading the Toolbox application to scan directly from there but the same message appeared. After installing the Toolbox application I unistalled the driver (11250) and reinstalled it. I opened Photoshop and tried scanning and the calibration window appeared only this time it didn't stop to give me the "Flim Adapter" warning. I must point that the scanner lid was open when this happend but I'm not sure that had anything to do with it.
So apparently it works if you have the Toolbox installed prior to installing the driver. The driver, Toolbox application and unistall driver can be found at Canon's website. Hope this helps.
did you verify that the USB port is active and the cable is working? Check under the Apple menu for "about this mac" then click on more info. Click on USB to see a list of active USP devices. If the Barco is connecting it will show up in the list. May not say Barco, it may say unknown device but it lets you see that the cable and port are working. If not replace them or try it on another computer. If they are working then the Calibrator Talk software may be configured wrong, have you contacted Barco? They have a troubleshooting area on the web site.
This sounds like a calibration problem. The first thing I would try is to un-install the driver, download the latest drivers from the manufacturer's website then reinstall the new software.
I'm not familiar with the drivers of this printer but look to see if there is a printer/monitor calibration area try the settings there.
The other obvious place to look in is the software you are printing from. Try printer/Monitor calibration in the help menu
