Paper gets rolled out blank with the cote " paper jam" though no paper stays inside

You will need to remove the tray and re-insert it, check if there is any little piece inside the rolls and then reset the printer

E3 error is mostly because of paper jam. their may be small bit paper jam in side. Even it feels that their is no any piece of paper inside the printer but actually it exist & inside of the printer makes paper sensor & its not function properly
To solve it
Open printer cover and check to make sure no paper or foreign objects obstructing the printer feeder.

Hi there !

Is your printer had jammed before and it stop printing in the middle of printing? For some reasons, paper can jammed due to printing interruptions, printer turn off, improper loading or feeding of paper, roller feeder had problem and others.

If jams before and paper have let inside the printer, please do the following first:

1. Check th paper tray, see inside if the paper is jammed inside that compartment. If there is paper jammed, remove, turn off your printer and turn on. This will solve your problem.

2. If not, open the printer cartridge door, remove the toner cartridge and look for paper jammed inside. If these is paper inside, remove it, turn off the printer and turn it on.

3. If you cannot see the paper jammed inside, the paper maybe inside the heating area. To remove paper, just turn off your printer and turn it on to roll over the paper jammed inside of it.

4. If the printer is blinking and saying there is paper jammed. You have to check the cartridge toner by opening the cartridge door, remove the cartridge and return it back but be sure it is well firmly fitted.

If following the 4 diagnostic procedure and you cannot locate the jammed paper, the problem lies on the toner cartridge itself. When toner cartridge is not rolling over, it will stop feeding the paper and it will cause printer to jammed.

To diagnose the problem, put old printer cartridge and if no toner power, just shake it well and I am sure there is still small amount of powder inside it and if it prints, the toner cartridge you purchase is defective. Reason, factory defect or improper refilling and part is not working well.

Inorder to remove the paper jam inside, you need to remove the toner cartridge first and then you can pull out the paper jammmed. If there is still paper jammed inside. Open the printer power to roll over and paper comes out. If still paper still there, You can open the back side of the printer to remove some paper jammed.

To fix this kind of error, remove the ink cartridge and turn the printer upside down and gently shake it.Check if anything comes out.If nothing goes, or you can't hear anything rattling around, get a piece of card stock paper (60lb or heavier) and gently push this through the printer, to see if it will help push out what might be stuck in there. Open up the printer and clean the insides with a soft cloth and a brush. That should remove all the bits of paper inside.The teeth on the roller sides may have some dirt stuck on them which does not allow the rollers to roll freely and hence is as bad as paper jam. The idea is that the rollers do not roll whether because of paper or some dirt on the roller teeth. They have to be cleaned.

This is usually caused by the quality of paper you are trying to get printed. It might be that your papers are too thin or substance is 16 below. Try using substance no. 20.

Also checked for jammed papers inside your printer. This might be causing the paper not to roll over properly.

demonte entierement ton hp psc 1510 entierement et regarde du cote droit a la station de nettoyage;il ya une petite target qui doit etre cassee du cote haut ou bas . je dis bien cette target se trouve au bout du bloc des rouleau avance papier avec un ressort de rapel accrocher dessus . Riso's are famous for this, i will scrub the rubber timing roll with rubber rejuvenator and clean the steel roll with alcohol.The riso paper feed clutches are weak compared to what they were in this series you may have to replace the clutch. Bud, after doing some research you need to clean the oneway bearings on the pickup and feed rolls, adjust feed table hieght and lastly check/adjust timing in drive and feed roller-you will need a manual for this.
