SOURCE: Heater Burner ignites but main blower motor will not turn on.

it sound like the blower motor may be seizing up. try spining the blade by hand to see if it feels free or not. the motor could be trying to turn but can then tripping itself out on overload. (most motors have built in safety overloads which will trip during an overcurrant event. aka too many amps.) you may have to replace blower motor

SOURCE: Is it o k to bend the thermocouple tip. The only

Bending it will ruin it. You need to find out why the pilot flame is not as strong as it should be.

It is usually caused by bugs or spiders having gotten into the small air mix jet of the pilot assembly and died or built a web or, there is some dirt from the fuel that is partially clogging the fuel tube leading up to the pilot assembly, or plugging the orifice.

SOURCE: Pilot flame will not stay on

The thermocouple is bad this keeps the gas valve open from the pilot flame telling the gas valve that the pilot is lit and it is okay to turn on the burners.

How do you change the light bulb in outdoor light 68D44

Is your 68D44 lamp the Califa 21 1/2" high bronze textured outdoor post light, https://www.lampsplus.com/products/califa-21-and-one-half-inch-high-bronze-textured-glass-outdoor-post-light__68d44.html . There are four screws that hold the frame (the top section) to the body. These are close to the top of the body of the lamp. Once you remove the screws, lift up the frame part of the fixture. Now you can remove the bulb and put in a new one. Place the frame back on the body of the light and replace the screws. See the Figure 1 in the manual, https://www.lampsplus.com/products/califa-21-and-one-half-inch-high-bronze-textured-glass-outdoor-post-light__68d44.html# , to see where to locate the screws on the unit.

I hope this helps.

Heater won light but i take regulator off and back on it will light but as soon as i turn up flame goes out

Your regulator is faulty - my heater did the same. It would light ok on the low burner, when turned up would go out. Changed the reg. and all fixed.

My heater ran for four hours then I smelled something burning and there was smole coming out of the vent...what could cause this?

Nests inside the heater, or build up of soot on the heat exchanger. You should always have your heater serviced each year at the onset of heater season.

Would like to know the wattage oiutput on my vulcan duel fuel oil heater

¿ Oil heaters do not generate wattage. On the name plate for the unit it may give you an AMP draw. Multiply Amps times Volts to get wattage use when in operation.
