Logitech cam I have a software, but my computer says that it does'nt detect a webcam. Is connected. What do I do?

The Web-cam driver software must be downloaded from the official site of Logitech. Once downloaded DO NOT CONNECT THE WEBCAM. but uninstall any web cam software within the PC. Now reinstall the printer software and Run, then connect the WEBCAM to be detected as a new hardware as it will be installed. Now open the WEBCAM properties and adjust.

If you still have the packaging and or manual for this web cam check with those to make sure that it is compatible with your computer. Window 7 is great with older technology but it can't always detect the right software for certain products. If the camera came with driver software try installing that often more times than not the installation software will notify you if your product is not compatible with the computer. First you have to download Logitech Windows 7 webcam software.

And after you install it then plug in your webcam.

there is a option "detect your device"
here it will automatically detect your quick cam model number and your operating system and suggest you the appropriate driver which may download and install.

Did you try the webcam program in the windows control panel? It will detect many webcams that
other webcam programs have trouble with. Also,
some cam programs need you to select your cam from a long list. All the major IM programs should have no trouble with a Logitech webcam.

Try connect the webcam to your computer, it wll detect the device, note down the device name it display towards the right bottom of your screen.
Then with this device name, brows google and enter device name + 'driver' in the search field click the search button.
U will be provided with numerous sites where from u can down load the driver for ur device.
