I would replace the inlet valve located in the back of the ref. Sounds like its not closing all the way could be gunked up with calcium or have a bad solenoid. Be sure to shut the water off to the unit before you unhook the valve. If you have low water pressure then you may want to replace your saddle valve at the same time. (thats the valve that taps into your actual water line in the basement or under the sink) This should correct the problem.
Let me know if this helps _MJ_

Your water inlet valve on the back where the water supply comes in is probably leaking. disconnect the water line coming out of it and see if you have a slow drip. Try the dispenser to see if it's just drips after use.

SOURCE: Water dripping from the water dispenser on freezer

If the water is dripping from the dispenser tube, you need a water valve. The valve is not shutting off completely. Check to make sure water is not dripping from ice chute. If the chute door doesn't seal off you will get moisture there and it will also frost up the ice chute.

Good day,
A slow continues drip, but still dispenses O.K. is caused by the dual water valve on the bottom rear of the machine not closing completely.
Only fix is replacing the water valve assembly.

When water leaks from the dispenser like this it will be caused by a defective water control valve that will not shut properly when off. The leaking water is the same as a leaking faucet. The KSCS25IN uses a=> W10247725-Water Control Valve or HERE

My water knozzle drips water all the time. The ice maker was jammed and in an attempt to fix it now the water knozzle drips. How do you turn off the water?

There is not an on off switch, and if you turn the house water line off, you won't have water to the ice maker. So if you want to turn only the water off to the fresh water dispenser, you will need to disconnect and then cap the water inlet valve for the water dispenser. To find it, just follow the house water line to where it connects to the water valve of the refrigerator. There will be two outlets on the valve (ice maker and fresh water) disconnect the fresh water line and cap it. You can purchase a cap from any hardware store.

Water leaking (dripping) into the drum when machine is off. Drip is coming from where water dispenses into the machine to fill the drum.

Hi just read your posting. The fault with your machine is a faulty water valve.1st turn off the cold tap to the machine and leave for a couple of hrs.If the dripping stops you have a faulty cold valve. If the dripping does not stop then turn off the hot tap and that should stop the leak.Either way to fix this fault a water valve must be replaced.Or you can stop the drip by just turning the taps off after the washing has finished.Hope this helps and please reply for further help if needed.

Water dispenser dripping...

May be you can. Just check if your drip tank is full and if it is forcing the overflow. If it is not that, check the opening to the drip tank and see if it is closed with ice or something similar. If it is not that bath, then i'm sorry but you have to turn off the water supply line.

RF266AB, 3 months old, water dispenser continues to drip for a minute or two after dispensing water. What can we do to stop this?

The unit comes wih a one year warranty, if you call Samsung they should send a tech to your home free of charge for that first year of ownership. I don't think for the amount of money you would have paid for this fridge you should not be completely happy with it. The problem is that air is getting into the water lines when you use the dispenser at one of the connection points in the water lines. This creates extra pressure so the dispenser spout keeps dripping. you can follow the lines to each connection and make sure they are all tight or dial 1800Samsung to schedule an appointment.

Kitchen Aid Super Ba refrig..water dripping from water spout !

To stop the dripping now, turn the water off.

The problem is there is either mineral caught in the seat of the dispenser valve, or the dispenser valve seat has a bad place in it. Removal and cleaning/replacement is required.
