Since the other Office wasn't working I tried to download Office Professional trial. Took forever to download-hours actually. Then when it ran, it stopped and said I need Windows Outlook in order to run Outlook Business Professional. Shouldn't that already be on my computer?

What I did was download the trial version of office 2010 and then got this brilliant program.

I had a similar problem in that I first had a trial version, and then after the trial had expires, I bought a newer version. But the expired trial version security would not let the new version run, even though I had uninstalled the old trial version. I finally gave up and switch to OpenOffice, for free, and took back the copy of MS Office I had purchased.

This is a trial version. Once the 60 days are up, you must purchase the product to continue to use it.

There is an alternative though. You can download OpenOffice for free and use it forever. OpenOffice can open and save most MS Office files.

You will either have to purchase Office 2007 or download the trial for Office 2010, which is still in Beta testing phase and available for download.

Yes, the only legal way to obtain a key is to buy it. However, your saved documents (if in the MS Office 2007 format) should work with a lower version of MS office if you obtain a free compatibility pack to get it to work with lower versions of MS office. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=941b3470-3ae9-4aee-8f43-c6bb74cd1466&displaylang=en. This would be great if you have a previous version of Office.

Also, if you just buy a MS Office 07 product buy itself (like just Microsoft Word) or a lower package (like Office Basic 2007 instead of Professional), as long the the program comes with it that you used in the trial, it will work fine.

If it is a free download like you said then you cannot get a product key. You could try downloading it again. You should get the product key when you start the download. It would only be a trial however.
