Hi the Stylus on the interactive globe is broken, it was brought for Christmas. Everything else is working it's just the pen. Can you help?

I kept getting the "there is no book data" message as well, and it was incredibly frustrating as there is not manual, no information online, and when I called Toys R Us, they just told me to return it.

What ended up working for me was to turn the pen on and point it to the area on the globe that says "Interactive Talking Globe", just above the menu area where you select the different functions (ie "country and ocean", "national anthem" and "major cities").

That changed the voice back to the original male version, and all of the functionality returned.

Look at the goodwill for a used 1 that works

try replacing the cord to the pen, or find where the pen connects to the unit as it may have a loose connection :0

Either the wire is broken inside the insulation, or the batteries are dead.
