Leap frog globe pen no longer works

We have a 'quantum leap' globe whereby you touch the globe with a 'pen' which is attached by a wire and a voice tells you the name of the country you are touching. It is also vital for the playing of the interactive games.

Leap frog globe pen replacement
The leapfrog webpage gives this info for getting replacement pens:
"If the pen was physically damaged (your dog chewed it, your child ripped the cord, etc.) the replacement cost is $5 to cover shipping and handling. There is no need to send the damaged pen back in this case. Simply call our Consumer Services center at 1-800-701-5327 to order a new pen."
