Samsung HL-T5076S Tv blows bulbs about once a month

You're definitely not having a lamp problem. It can be your ballast not providing your lamp with the correct amount of voltage. Lamps should last a minimum of 1 to 3 yrs. specially if you bought a Philips lamp.
Look into your ballast. Samsung has a history with this ballast.

We lost the pcture on our Samsung HL-R4266W and we got a blinking "Lamp" in the center of the screen while there was a deep humming noise. I called Fry's Electronics where I had purchased the TV in Dec....

I learned that the problem was a broken color wheel instead of a bad lamp. It appears that the color wheel gets very hot and brittle because of the proximity to the lamp. Eventually, parts of one or more of the glass wheel-blades break off and make noise if they are still next to the wheel.

The lamp went out on our 4 year old 42" samsung, model #HL-R4266W where do I get a new bulb and how do I change it

Check the following before replacing the lamp:
  1. The replacement lamp must be of the same code number and type with the old one.(Samsung BP96-01472A Lamp)
  2. The lamp type is indicated on the right side of the TV. It is also indicated on the lamp case.
  3. You can search online where to buy replacement lamp.
Caution:
  1. Replace the lamp with the correct lamp type to avoid damage to the TV.
  2. Turn off the TV and wait for 30 minutes before replacing the lamp to allow it to cool
  3. Do not touch the glass part of the lamp with your bare hands nor insert any foreign object inside the cover as it may cause poor screen quality, electric shock or fire.
  4. Do not place the old lamp near flammable objects or within the reach of children.

Tools needed:
  1. Phillips screwdriver and a pair of gloves.
Procedure:
  1. Remove the 4 screws securing the lamp cover. 49f2bb5.jpg

  5. Reinstall the Lamp by following these steps in reverse order.
  6. Align the lamp cover with the groove and secure the screws. The TV will not turn on if the lamp cover is not correctly closed.

DLP TV lamp went out, new one doesn't work either,

Well you have a Samsung TV, in this case, it's most probable that you might have an issuw with your ballast. It might not have enough energu to keep up with your new lamp. You might ask yourself, How could this be if it worked with the old lamp? Well the old lamp didn't have all of it's gases, like it used, when you recently purchased the tv or lamp, and as time goes by, those gases tend to go out.

THE TV WILL NOT TURN ON, THE LAMP SIGN IS FLASHING, WE HAVE JUST REPLACE THE LAMP BUT IT IS STILL NOT WORKING?

Well when you replace the lamp more then likely you need to replace the balast as well this will shore up the problems you may have with both.

Whining Noise and Image Problems

You better to check the color wheel or Lamp ballast.

Normally, the noise comes from color wheel.

Samsung hlr4266wx dlp tv shuts off

This tv usually if detects a fault will display via leds a error flash code. Refer to Owners manual for What the codes are for. If you go to Samsung Website Copy and paste link for manual.

Problem may be lamp is failing or ballast which operates lamp may be Bad. Could also be Temperature fault from Inoperable fan or Color wheel. Bulb of course is first choice of possible problem followed by color wheel then ballast. Color wheels usually will start making bearing noise when they start to fail. Hope this helps.
