Did you try to clean first the unit..

You really need to provide a lot more information. You might be surprised at how many different makes and models there are out there and bikes even change from model to model depending on the year etc. So, it is also important to know what you mean by cleaning the fuel tank. for eg is it a metal tank or a plastic one, are you hoping to clean out a rust metal tank or just gunk from a metal or a plastic tank. Injectors cannot be disassembled to cleaning. Get new ones if needed. Rusty metal tanks can be relatively easily cleaned and galvanvize coated if that is the problem.

Hi! The solution and water goes in the top tank. Dirty water is suctioned into the bottom tank as you're scrubbing your floors. To fill the clean water tank, remove the clean water tank cap. The cap serves as a measuring cap for the solution. Fill the cap with Hoover carpet washer solution to the fill line. Pour detergent into tank. Fill the rest of the clean water tank with hot tap water and twist the cap back on. You are now ready to clean. Hope this helps!

Hi! The clean water tank may begin to leak if solution is stored in the tank. This can cause the rubber seal on the clean water tank to disintegrate. The tank will need to be replaced. To purchase a replacement clean water tank just follow the link below. Hope this helps!

Remove two hoses from under the tank and remove bolts holding tank to car body. Clean out tank, make sure tank is clean and dry and reinstall.

Possibilities:
Spray Tip clogged
Clean/Solution tank is out of fluid
Clean/Solution tank is not inserted into the unit securely

Solutions:
- Clean Spray Tip
- Fill Clean/Solution Tank.
- Gently press the Clean/Solution Tank until you see “bubbles”
coming from the base of the tank.

Clean it how? Why? Removing the tank is usually a simple process, remove the connecting hoses that go forward, release the 2 straps the hold the tank up, there are usually 2 half inch or 14mm nuts holding the clamps 1 on each, and lower the tank. having told you all of this there is no cleaning solution you can use inside the tank to clean and the worst thing you could possibly do is put water in the tank to clean it. In fact, if the fuel pump isn't located in the tank there is only going to be a 2 1/2 " hole where fuel is added to the tank and the line connections to access the tank. Good Luck.
