My GE DBXR453GAWW is making a loud chirping noise

My 8 yr old GE DBXR453GAWW is making a loud chirping noise when full of wet clothes. the noise is reduced or eliminated when I make the load smaller. Is there a drive belt that needs to be replaced?

The rear drum berring is worn causing the chirp.
The motor berring is bad causing the chirp.

Service is needed to prevent fruther damage.

Dryer is growling when spinning heavy loads.

The bearings may be gone, but I don't know how old your machine is or the brand. If it is over 8 years old, consider replacing it. Maybe get an estimate from a repairman who knows your brand.

sounds like support springs for the drum have become detached or broken. Do not use, suggest new machine as old ones not worth the investment.
