Steering trouble I have a 92 cadillac seville sts the steering is difficult but only when my foot is on the brake or not on the gas pedal. I dont think it's the steering fluid i checked that and it was still full. Could it be the steering pump?

is it supposed to go in and out
if so it probably is rusted in place
take it to an accredited service shop for repair / replacement

I just bought the same car, theres no skipping in the tranny, but your right the car will go for a while once you take your foot off the petal, I looked at that as saving gas in a way, because your crusing and not stepping on the gas.

you need to have a pulley puller to get the pulley off if you don't have one most auto zone part stores have a loan a tool program and they can help you with that on most powersteering pumps the high pressure line will be a fitting or bolt on and the return line is usually just a squeeze clamp hope this helps good luck
