Your RCA remote has a code search feature you can use to find a suitable code. If a search through all codes stored in the remote produces no result, you may have to try a different programmable remote.
Olevia was never big enough to be given any codes by the cable companies or the box manufacturers. What I finally did was buy a Logitech Harmony remote online. The price range is pretty broad depending on the feature set you're looking for. But if you're fed up enough it will get the job done for anywhere from $40 to $100+.
The only model of remote that i heard that it has pre-program Olevia code in it.. is the RC-64 or RC-64RB usually these remotes are coming with the new HD boxes..

And, if you have a TV shop in your area at all, they will likely have an IR (infrared) detector made to check remotes for output. The simple ones do not check for coding but will tell you if the remote is putting out any signal at all.
Of the two ends, the receiver is typically more reliable than the transmitting end in your remote.
Go to Best Buy and buy the DirectTV Universal Remote Control ($20 and works with all cable and satellite services) Model RC64. It will control all the functions on the Olevia TV and Satellite box, except the A-B-C-D buttons for the User Guide.
I just got FIOS and had an Olevia 237 TV. Tried the LG, Phillips, RCA and Yamaha codes, no luck so I tried this:
- press and hold TV key - still holding TV key, press the OK key and release both, device keys blink - press 922 - point remote at TV and press play button - press next button (two arrows pointing to right) about 325 times until the TV goes off.
