I gave 2 Nextar MP3's for Xmas gifts. Neither one will charge. Two people tried & neither had any luck. It's like the cord does not fully connect with the player. How do I get my money back?

it doesnt look like it has a proprietary plug end so you can probably buy a adapter at wal-mart or radio shack as far as the user manual goes copy and paste the following address http://www.nextar.com/frontend/proddetail.asp?pn=MA852&co=10000309 its the blue link on the right
make sure the battery is fully charged or brand new. If it still isnt turning on with the nextar mp3 players there is nothing you can really do and it would be cost effective to replace the unit over trying to get it repaired.

yea u can recharge your mp3 player all you do is use the cord that u use to transport music to the mp3 hook it up to the computer put your mp3 player on it then just leave it alone && it will be get charged
Here is what I found:
Connected the player to the PC with and without prior power on successfully
OSD first displays message “Starting…” then:
Icon appears on screen with a picture of a computer monitor to right and mp3 player icon to left
When mp3 player is communicating with computer or sending information, an appropriate directional arrow appears between the two icons; when transferring files using Windows Explorer, the arrow reverses direction appropriately; when there is no activity either way, a series of “Z z z” ‘s appear on screen
Battery indicator icon also appears to right – new AAA battery resulted in a fully charged icon upon startup; no battery whatsoever resulted also in a fully charged battery icon appearing
