I have had that happen to me a few times, and so far, the problem was the battery was dead, and had to be replaced with a new one. God bless your efforts.

I am having the same problem

That happened with my phone, I was texting while in the shower(not smart) & it messed it up. On the front and inside screen it would turn to the Verizon Wireless screen, but then as if it were to switch to the actual wallpaper i had it set to, it would white out for .5 seconds, then turn to the same Verizon Wireless screen, what I did was plug it into the charger, turn it upside down, leave it like that over night, and it was perfectly fine. It's ironic that I'm going through this right now:/ haha.

I got one of the $38 replacement screens from that eBay supplier. It came super fast - they must have shipped it the same day.

Replacing it is no minor task, but I did accomplish it successfully, and the one module does replace both the outside and inside screens.

I have 30 years of electronics experience, and it took me about 2-1/2 hours. A decent portion of that was just carefully figuring out how to get things taken apart, etc. If I had to do it again (and I hope I don't...) it would probably go a little faster.

For tools, the pry-bar tool included with the display is *very* helpful, but that tool only gets you as far as removing the covers.
For 2 of the screws in tight spots, it will help to have a Phillips #00 screwdriver with a narrow shaft a couple inches long and a decent size handle for good grip (i.e. better than a typical cheap "jeweler's screwdriver" with a skinny handle.) And here's the kicker: you'll also need a good, clean, reasonably fine-tipped soldering iron, and reasonably confident soldering skills to "undo" and resolder connections in two places. It's not super-fine pitch stuff, but there's a soldered mechanical attachment of a connector in one spot, and a two-conductor joint between two flex-circuits in another.

So I would not characterize it as quite as simple as "buy the display unit and use the tool to put it in.." There's a lot more to it than that, and I don't think I'd advise it for someone without at least some experience in electronic repair.

After all that, if there's interest, I may post a more detailed review of the process somewhere.

Having said all that, the darn thing worked perfectly - both inside and out - when we powered it back up!

i think flexible wire was damage,replace it

Dropping it may have dislodged one of the internal components. I would bring it to the Verizon store and see if they can fix it or give you a new phone.
