My mobile phone (razr) screen is black but the phone still works

I dropped my phone on the floor and now the screen went totally black. every thing else works perfectly fine just as it should can you please help me??!!

Black screen on inside and outside has not been dropped may have water damage from water on my hands
what you may need to do is replaced the flexcable on the phone not the lcd.

No screen, sound, dropped
try a new battery if that does not work you will need to take the phone to a mobile servic center and have them flash the erom back into the phone.

jkyl - take the phone to a repair center and have them check the phone for you.

did you drop your phone
well if you did you jarred the screen loose from connector
if you didnt drop it
then make sure phone is on and do what they call a cold boot
pull the battery out remove sim blow on sim and place back in phone

doris Terry - you need to have the screen replaced on the first phone, the second one you bought from e-bay you need to do a master clear and rest on the phone....if that does not work try to have the phone firmware reflash from a mobile store technician.
