charge your battery on another phone and then place your battery in your phone and switch on your phone and connect the charger to it if still it isn't charging then check your charger and if the charger is ok then you need to repair your phone manually or by taking it to authorized dealer
The charger socket is soldered directly to the main board - if it's just the solder joints that have cracked, then a decently equipped mobile phone repair place should be able to resolder it - if it's actually ripped the copper traces off the board, then it's not really practical to repair it.
Since I happened to have a K1 in bits, here is a photo of the connector - it's normally attached quite firmly to the main PCB.
You have a couple of options: Take it to a motorola repairer or try to update the firmware on your phone. As you cant get it to go past the Hellomoto screen a hard reset would not possible.
hi.there...don't worry.. what happens with your new cellphone..is normal..why? when your battery is low and there a pop up screen at the display "battery low...please recharge" that's mean you must charge the battery soon. when connect your phone to charger adapter and your battery is very low / weak condition the display only showing "hellomotto" and nothing else. but it's normal! diplay need more power from you battery to showing all information.after the battery reach the minimum power to display it ( usually after 15-20' charging) try to push red bottom at your keypad phone and the display will showing again..good luck..
Yes. That was the great thing about that phone when I had one, I could leave it plugged into my laptop and use the mobile phone as my internet connection; never had to plug it into a charger. I do recommend downloading Mobile Phone Tools and USB Driver installed on your PC before plugging your Razor in.
you need to try and get into the boot loader to see if you can flex/flash it from there. a new flex should solve the problem, unless there is physical or water damage to it.
It could also be a defective battery. Are you positive the battery works?
Did you do any kind of upgrade on the phone? played with it's firmware?
On flashing - http://wiki.howardforums.com/motorola/index.php/How_to_flash_with_RSD_lite
Flexing is done the same way
Good luck
