My vacuum cleaner seems great when i first start it then a few minutes after im running it, it seems like is loses suction or power. If i stop the vacuum and empty the canister, even though it dont need it, and then start it back up again, once again it has good suction. But, as soon as i run it for a few minutes it looses suction again.
Sounds like you have a clog somewhere. Check the filter inside the dust compartment, if is very dirty it won't allow ait to flow thru, Part #62132, DCF-H filter. Check the hose, take it off if you can and drop something in it to see if it comes out the other end, if it doesn't, then the hose is clogged. Check bown by the brush roll, the inlet may be plugged. Also if the belt is more then say 6 months old, you may want to replace it, I am sure it is strertched, part #61120B, extended life belt.
