3 capacitors on your deflection board cp150 2200uf 16v cp114 cp120 220uf 35v

  • Anonymous Dec 14, 2009

Capacitors 97cents, They are in the start up circuit and on deflection board bottom left side board has FBT flyback transfomer, they are up on front of board. Most of them where Green with Gold writing on them and cp150 usually is puffed up on top. Call Mats Electronics for capacitors 1-800-628-1118 use 25v instead of 16v on cp150 2200uf 25v other 2 are 220uf 35v

LOOK at cp 150, most of the time they are puffed up on top like a flower fixing to open up capacitors should be Flat as a board on top! Charge for repair in shop for same Job $275.00 32yrs in Repair what would you Think! Labor charges here start at $190.00 I cant say that I am 100% positive because Im not There to Look at the Capacitors thats Why I told you to Look! But This has been The Most common Problem those sets Have. If you had a Blowed Fuse set would not come on at ALL. Also resolder all the pinns on FBT flyback Transfomer. Its common knowledge Too. 9 times out of 10 thats what is Bad capacitors.

When i push the power button on my rca hdtv r52wh73 the green light comes on it makes a squeak noise like it is trying to power up but nothing happens.

replacing the deflection board will solve that issue about 95% of the time. You need the ITC222A deflection board PSB260 which you can get from www.tvrepairworld.com listed under the RCA Projection circuit boards. It comes with installation instructions.

My RCA R52WH74 chassis # ITC222A wont turn on. The green power light comes on for about 10 seconds then shuts off. No picture, no sound. How do I fix it? Buying a new TV just isn't in out budget!

That model is famous for having issues with the deflection board failing. Replacing the deflection board should solve the issue. You can get replacement deflection board for the ITC222A chassis from www.tvrepairworld.com under the RCA circuit boards catagory.

How to adjust the convergence on my RCA R52wh77 tv there is no convergence button on system anywhere. TV is only 2.5 yr old and I really don't want to pay $300 to have them come and adjust tube when I can...

you have to go into the menu, sometimes convergence is listed in the video section.
the chasis number is ITC222.
some had manual convergence then you have to adjust red onto green, blue onto green DO NOT MOVE GREEN
if it has autoconvergence activate it.do not do anything until its done.
