I need a new graphics card for my compaq evo d500 to play team fortress 2 but my budget is 50$ help!

I linked this card because I do not know if you have the D500MT or the D500SFF. I would suggest purchasing a DVI to VGA adapter as well so that the card will operate as a Dual VGA (D-SUB) setup.
I would not suggest spending much more than this on upgrades for this system as it is an older system and you could get a current technology system, possibly with a dual head video card, for between $300-$600.

It is plug and play, it should automatically detect the new RAM with no extra needed work or installation procedures. Remove the memory and reboot, you will get the beep again. Reinstall and reboot again hopefully this is all that needs to be done. Is this new or used RAM?

there is usually a safe mode to you can reset video options

you need to flash to the origional bios. Obviously this is hardware related. For graphics cards v sync is software controlled, you have created a very hard to fix hardware problem.

Graphics cards are cheap now. YOu should be able to find a better replacement for even 30 =50 bucks on newegg.com

Try to start your EVO desktop in safe mode (press F8) before Windows loads.

Other things to try are a different graphics card or monitor.
