I have a new computer and i do not have the disk to my canon pixma iP1600 how do i get the software to hook my printer to the computer?

Relaying on what you wrote, I understand you don't have an internet connection on the computer you're using...If so, use another computer, which connected to the internet and has a CD burner and software and download THIS file.
Burn in on a CD and intall in on the Windows 98' computer.
