Yes there is a way to recover the mmc password but you need to visit mobile repairing shop along with you phone and mmc.They can generate the current password if you have created the password through that particular phone (handset).But sometimes this problem happen when the mmc has hardware problem so you can at least try to put another mmc.Thanks for visiting fixya
hi friend, i got the same problem on my nokia 2690.i forgot the memory card password.the most suitable solution for this problem is,you should first check out your memory card on card reader device either your memory card is working good or not.after checking if your card is fine till today,you should insert your memory card into memory card unlocker device like card reader.that device will remove your memory card lost password.now it works fine. thank you for joining Fixya.
you have made two cardinal mistakes. First you gave a password and second you forgot it. Second after the first is unpardonable by the manufacturers. Now the only answer is to format the card and loose all data.
you just have to remove ur mmc from ur phone and tn cnnct it to computer via card reader go to my computer >external devices > righth click on it >and u will find a option of formatting just format it and then put code 1234
You need 1 mobile phones and a memory card reader.
1) Do _not_ turn off the mobile phone!
2) Remove the Memory Card from the locked phone and put it into a
memory card reader. Create
the directory E:\System\Recogs and copy thc-nokia-unlock.mdl into
this directory.
3) Remove the Memory Card and place it into the locked phone.
The THC-NOKIA-UNLOCK program should start after 120 seconds.
4) Remove the battery. Remove the MMC. Put the battery back and restart.
The Phone Lock has been reset to 12345
