Dear Mihajlo,
Your problem isnot monitor but VGA adapter, you have to install different(adequate) driver or if it isnot useful to change VGA card. Check for new driver at the VGA card manufacturer site.
Best regards.

Hi,Have 710n when powered up shows "not optium mode" box and cant get into menu. How do you access menu? Many Thanks Bruce

In Your Desktop, Right Click -> Properties. In this Display Properties window, Click on Settings Tab.
Adjust the screen resolution to '1280 by 1024 pixels'.
Set Color Quality to 'Medium (16 bit)'
Then click on 'Advanced' Button. In Monitor Tab, Set the Screen Refresh rate to 60 Hertz. Click Apply/Ok in both the settings windows. This will Solve your Problem. Else, Try setting Color Quality to 'Highest (32 bit)'.

How can i upgrade my 16-color to 32-color

Are you referring to color scheme? If so, you should be able to right-click on an empty space on the computer desktop, choose Properties from the menu that appears. Then, in Windows XP, choose the Settings Tab. You should see a drop down menu on the lower right titled Color quality. In the drop down menu you can choose 16 bit, and should have a selection for 32 bit. Select the 32 bit, click Apply. Then the screen should change to that setting and ask if you want to keep those settings. Select OK and you should be good.
