Unfortunately there is a few things that could have gone wrong, i would think it is either the monitor itself or the graphics controller. Do you have an external monitor to see if you get the same problem

Possible parts affected are the motherboard, video card and even the monitor/LCD. try another display/monitor to check if the situation is specific to your monitor/lcd.

Monitor goes fuzzy after unit warms up.

If your monitor goes fuzzy or displays distorted images after the unit warms up, it could be caused by a few different issues. Some possible causes include:
  1. Overheating: If the monitor is overheating, it may cause the image to become distorted. This could be caused by a malfunctioning fan or a build-up of dust and debris inside the monitor.
  2. Loose connections: If the connections between the monitor and the computer are loose, it can cause the image to become distorted. Make sure that all cables are securely connected.
  3. Damaged components: If the monitor's components are damaged, it can cause the image to become distorted. This could be caused by a power surge, physical damage or age.
  4. Driver or Software issues: Your monitor could be working perfectly fine but the problem may be with the driver or software. Make sure you have the latest drivers installed and try to update your graphics card driver
It's best to try to troubleshoot the issue by checking for any loose connections or cleaning the monitor to eliminate overheating as a cause. If the issue persists, it may be best to take it to a professional for further diagnosis.

HP 19 All-In-One desktop. Power surged and display went black. Powers up and fan is running, just no display.

For one be sure to ALWAYS use a surge protector that has all three prongs attached for it to properly work and as well as the wall socket it plugs into or it will surge your device and/or damage it. It may have surged the display card or if the computer does not have a display card it might have surged the on board display built in the computer.. if you have another display card you can take it and install it then hook your monitor up to that and see if the screen comes on then... Hope that helped...

Model 253.28432807. Household power went off today for a couple of hours. Restored. Freezer has power but display is illegible. Up arrow does nothing. Down arrow changes display but display is erratic and...

Electronic components are very sensitive to voltage surges, spikes or sags.

Voltage is not delivered at a constant 120 volts. With alternating current, the voltage rises and falls in a predetermined rhythm. The voltage oscillates from 0 to a peak voltage of 169 volts. Most appliances and electronics used in the United States are designed to be powered by this form of generated electricity.
During a power surge, the voltage exceeds the peak voltage of 169 volts.

A spike in voltage can be harmful to appliances and electrical devices in your home. An increase in voltage above an appliance's normal operating voltage can cause an arc of electrical current within the appliance. The heat generated in the arc causes damage to the electronic circuit boards and other electrical components.

(Smaller, repeated power surges may slowly damage your electronic equipment, over time too.)

Voltage sags, a.k.a voltage dips or brownouts, is another form of electrical disturbance that can damage appliances as well.

The bottom line, power surges, spikes, and sags can vary in duration and magnitude; and can damage electrical equipment ranging from stereos to computers to any household appliance that uses chip board circuitry sensitive enough to "blow" due to over or under-energizing it.

What does PF stand for

On my range, it means that there was a power failure. Just press Off/Cancel to clear the message. Reset the clock if needed.

If this is happening frequently, check the wiring and the control board itself. (Sometimes a power failure will be preceded or followed by a power surge that can damage the electronics of the control board. Lightning strikes are a common cause of the surge. If a surge has damaged the board, the control board will need to be replaced. Depending on the color of your range, this is a $130 to $300+ part.)

I hope this helps. Please add a comment if other errors are being displayed or have recently been displayed.

Panasonic SA-PT480 will not turn on after power outage while REQ displayed on unit display

it sounds to me like you have endured a power surge and it has cooked the unit // i would replace it as surges do so much damage it normally writes the unit off but your power company is liable to replace it (if it was a surge)

N 70 white screen best solution or scrumbled displayA

Some good advice from someone who has been looking for this solution for many months, FORGET jumper solutions because you are just wasting your time with this and forget reheating the board as well.
I do not have a diagram to upload but those of you should know where the black bga chip is on the left hand side of the keypad system connector, that is all you have to replace, no jumpers needed. I have just finished my fourth N70 in this way, just change the chip and nothing else.
you can also find the chip on 6680 board.

Tv will not power up when turned on after a power surge occurred.

Prayfully the fuse inside the tv took a little shock and broke ...if not that would leave the transformer or the board took a surge also but this would also depend on a little more details...

was the power surge damaged?
was tv plug damaged?
does the power surge still work (if it wasn't damage)
and not all power surges are power surges unless it specified of purchase most are like power surges but are only close to and a extended extention cord updated..

if the power surge is damaged or even still works then go have the fuse check and any further damage will also show up on the board it will have a burned part...
