thats not a hardware problem your speakers are fine sounds like a codex problem try downloading VLC free and also put the downloaded audio on a pen drive and see if it will play on another system the files you downloaded may be corrupt
if you are playing older or burnt dvds then chances are they were recorded using only 2 channel or stereo instead of 5.1,6.1 or 7.1 hope this is your solution
You need to play DVDs through Acer Arcade. To do this you can turn off autoplay (use help function), or assign Acer Arcade to automatically play DVDs. If you still want to use Windows Media Player to play your DVDs you must uninstall Acer Arcade.
