If you have an OEM network card that you installed yourself, then we'll need it's make and model.
If you're referring to the onboard LAN functionality built into that motherboard, it's a Realtek 8201BL PHY
If you have another computer that you can download the drivers on, and then bring them over to this one by usb, you can download the drivers for your motherboard's built in network port from the website below:
It appears that BIOS password it set on your computer, if you have forgot
BIOS password then you have to reset CMOS jumper setting. Please follow
the below steps:
Open the Laptop back panel. Locate the CMOS battery,
remove it & then with the help of a screw driver keep on pressing
the terminal inside it and turn ON the computer for 10 secs and Turn Off
(make sure you keep on pressing the terminal with a screwdriver while
turning ON). It will short the BIOS setting. Now, fix the CMOS battery
& restart the computer. This will take care of the issue.
Eugene, how are you? Not a problem, firstly have you replaced the motherboard CMOS battery? If you have the next step is to boot into the BIOS, most of the time it will mean pressing the delete key, or F8,F10, F12 and or ESC upon turning on your syst. It all depends on what kind of pc you have.
Once you are in the BIOS setup screens go through each one and just remember to save and reboot your syst. This should set you straight. ;)
you need to flash the bios (reset it) there are 2 ways. the first is to find the jumper on the board and switch it to pins 2 and 3 then replace it to i and 2 .. the jumper is jcmos 1.. or jp1
the second is
unplug the system
remove the side panel to open the case
locate the battery on the main board
remove the battery
press and hold the power buttoin for 10 seconds
replace battery
plug in and boot
Unplug your power source open the case and remove the battery, wait 60s put the battery back and turn on the computer. I think than you will not be waken up and you will be able to access BIOS as well.
