Hi,

It takes 3xAA batteries.

Rechargables vary though you could use pretty much any brand.. The biggest drawback is the shorter life you get from using rechargables and in looking at a couple of reviews of the FRS250 they all say that it eats the batteries so maybe rechargables aren't the best option for that..

If the player has a rechargeable battery older than 2 years, it is probably going to need to be replaced. Look at the volts-Ampere-hours rating, and replace with same volts more ampere-hours AH rating.

Batteries good, but screen shows :batteries empty?

How you know batteries are good? Sometimes new batteries are bad too. Also there is a possibility that you are using wrong type of battery like normal carbon batteries or lower ampere batteries which work fine in other gadgets but will show empty in a digital camera. Digital camera need high ampere batteries like Duracell (if your camera use AA batteries) or rechargeable NI-MH/ Li-ion batteries.

Its not working Battery is ok

Try using another set of batteries, sometimes cameras need high ampere rating batteries to start. Make sure you are using correct type of batteries. Read camera manual to find the correct battery number. If your camera uses AA size rechargeable battery then try using new Duracell instead for checking your camera, if your camera is good then it should work. Else you may need to send your camera for repair.

In my Olympus digital camera, when I switch on my camera, it will show change the battery. I have changed the battery inserted new battery, even then, it will show like that only. Hence, pl guide what I...

The best type of battery to use for cameras is the NiMH (Nickel-metal-hydride) rechargeable type. U'll get all kinds of problems if you use the types you use for toys and things like that.
What I recommend to you is go to a studio/cam shop and ask for two AA sized NiMH batteries (I have checked ur cams' stats). they'll have only what's good for cameras (there're cheap NiMHs in the electronics market but those aren't good for cams)
Any NiMH batt. of the appropriate size will work on your cam, they will only differ in the number of hours ur cam can run on them.
Extra: There's an "mAh" rating (milliampere hours) written on batteries. This only decides how long ur cam will run. The power rating of ur cam is written somewhere on the cam (eg- 3.0---2.0A for my cam)
to estimate how long ur cam will run on ur batteries:
  • Multiply the average of that 'A' value by 1000 (A= Amperes. one Amp= 1000mA)
  • Then divide the battery's mAh rating by the answer of above. the value you get is approximately the time in hours you can run your camera on those batteries

I put a new set of Ni-Mh AA battery with 2100 mAh, still after just 30 odd snaps with flash its started to show the batteries' down.. please help! the camera is just 2 days old.. its finepix s1800...!

try with other type of rechargeable batteries.Duracell or Energizer will do the best. Read carefully on the package the year when battery was made. Over 2-3 years, the electrolite from the batteries may became dry, reducing the power capacity. You must buy fresh battery. But you must know that many digital cameras drain more than 2 Ampere from the batteries even without flash on. That means you need minimum 2700 mA/h cells to last longer. I hope this will help you.

HP LAPTOP Pavillion MODEL zt3000-mbossed on front case/zt3200 on bottom tag, battery meter absent, showing 0 level, can be recharged,(some where read use full charge bring to 0 and start recharge) hence...

First of all, you need to make sure your power adapter is providing enough power to both run the laptop & charge the battery. A very good way to do this is to compare your laptop voltage & ampere requirements (written on a sticker on the bottom of the laptop) with the voltage & ampere ratings of the power adapter. Voltages should be the same, or the power adapter's voltage about up to 0.5 volts more than the laptop's voltage rating. Amperage of the power adapter should be at least equal to or greater than the laptop's rating. It should never be less than the laptop's rating, or else the power adapter will be providing insufficient amperes to charge the battery. Of course, the power adapter's nominal amperage might be ok, but it degraded on usage. You can verify this by testing using a good or new power adapter.
If the battery did not charge using the new power adapter, take the battery off the laptop, & using a dry tooth brush, scrub in between the fins of the battery connector on the motherboard & on the battery it self, then put the battery back into the laptop & try again.
If this still did not resolve the problem, then the battery itself could be bad. Try it on another laptop, or try a good or new battery in your laptop.
If this did not work, there might be a possibility that the charging circuitry on the laptop's motherboard is defective & needs servicing. In order to do this, the laptop needs to be disassembled & the motherboard checked for defective/burned out components in the area near the DC jack. Any defective/burned out components found should be replaced, or you might need to replace the laptop's motherboard altogether.

Can I connect a Labtec Model AD-SS-3 to my laptop?

This model of AC adapter puts out 14.4 Volts of DC current, at 1.0 Ampere.

I doubt that 1.0 Ampere is enough amperage to run your computer, or to recharge your computer's battery.

Look on eBay for the model-number of the original AC adapter.
You might find one from the manufacturer of your computer,
or you could find something that will be compatible in voltage/amperage.

HOW TO INSTALL BATTERIES IN MAXON 27KC AND WHAT ARE THE TWO BLACK THINGS IN WITH THE BATTERIES

KC27 Maxon CB need 10 batterys rechargables 1.2 v for 12v total, use the most amperes or miliamperes possible, if you have a charger case or 27-CRDL Cradle for 27-KC you can use 13.8v regulated 5 amps. máx. but need external antenna. When you put a radio in charger case it switch to use external mic, voltage, antenna & speaker. Actually 2500 mAh "AA" battery is very common and cheap. You can charge batterys on to radio case, only need a 200 mAh eliminator at 15v for 6 hours.
