Text issue My phone is a nokia/at&t phone and everytime i open anything related to text messaging it goes to a white screen and reboots. i can call anyone and have had no issues with anything else related to the phone. Please help

Can you send txt msgs before? Please try calling if it iw working. If you can't call too, please call your service provider.

Firstly open the menu by pressing the white button which is in centre of red and green button then click on messaging then click on New message and then click on the line which is written after To just like this To:_________ and then type the number of the person whom you want to text then click on the green tick mark which is on the top of the screen then click on the lines which are below To:_________ and then type your text and then click on the green tick mark on the top of the screen and at the end click on the options and select send... you text will be sent

This issue only occurs when trying to send a SMS text message from within the call details screen of a call in the call log.
To avoid this issue, complete the following steps to send a SMS text message from the call log screen:

1. Open the Phone application.
2. Open the Call Log by clicking the middle button in the toolbar.
3. Touch the call log/contact in the list without clicking the screen.
4. Display the menu, then select SMS Text (Name/Number).
5. If required, rotate the BlackBerry smartphone to switch to landscape mode.

either your lcd is bad or your flex cable,,just disconnected and pulg into good working one and you can tell,,,

push the messages button (the bottom left corner in landscape view) - this takes you to the menue

push the same button again - this enters settings

push down and ok - this goes to text message settings

push ok - selects auto text

push up, then ok - changes from "off" to "on" then selects

that should do it!

try to delete some of your text messages. free up some spaces for your phone memory. you can back it up if the messages are really that important to you by using nokia pc suite.

you need to format your phone so that you can receive messages again...input this code *#7370# and then click yes...enter your security code...after that your phone will reboot...it will automatically on..so please wait until the phone open..after that enjoy texting again..hope this will help you

Go to Menu>Settings>Restore factory settings

the phone is made like that from the factory u can not change that
