I cannot load cd's into my SL DZ 1200 cd

It the CD tray which is at fault. Now-a-days the entire tray and the gears which are made from plastic(HDPE). For opening the tray the moment you touch the ope/eject button the same gears a fly when is pushed rotate a plastic gear which starts the process. However since this get locked by aa lever which in turn is also for ejecting the tray. This 2-3 plastic gears have got worn out unevenly resulting in the tray is hitting the last position and the rebound force is enough to dislodge the catch lever attached to the eject button.However this player is expensive and there worth a try to repair it. If a couple of these gears if replaced, will be able to repair the tray function then give it a try. However select an authorized service center since they will be bound to give you a service warranty of at least 6 months................sodeep
