How do you clear the e journal - Casio QT 6000 Point of Sale Terminal

Given a journal is a record of events as they happen in chronological order, usually a personal record, your journal can have an introduction, a prologue or an epilogue or whatever you want.
If you want it to be a comprehensive record you can include "asides" or explanatory notes that make things clear to subsequent readers. These can be in the form of footnotes on each page, at the end of each time period or in the form of an appendix at the end of each journal.

You have not been running an electronic journal report so it has become full. At the end of each day, clear the electronic journal and it won't happen. The code will be in your manual.

Text message: ticket data incorr.

1.) Check setting DELETE TICKET in menu point DEVICE CONFIGURATION/
JOURNAL/TICKET.
If {NO} is selected here, it should be ensured that the ticket memory is
evaluated and cleared at regular intervals. Otherwise the device should be set to
{automatic}.
Evaluate ticket memory via REPORTS/JOURNAL/TICKET JOURNAL WITH
CLEARING.
Transmission error in continuous sales mode
1.) Check system cabling.
2.) Check system interface.

Royal don't tend to give out this info. and this model is rare to find. You will need the code for Journal clearing. I've found that it varies too much between registers to guess it by other ones. For the royal machines, I usually just send customers to buy the manual from the supplier. There is also a PDF manual on the net if you need one quickly:

On the 265 you will need to enable this feature first in the program flag setup. Once enabled, print journal by turning key to X and pressing 300 CASH. Then to clear the electronic journal, turn key to Z and press 399 CASH

I suggest you to reset your equipment.Here is how:
Remove AA batteries and unplug register from wall for 15 minutes.

Two more options;
Option #1:
To print the transaction details before clearing the journal memory:

VERY IMPORTANT: Do not interrupt once printing begins or the journal will not be cleared.

1. Make sure the paper is full in the register.
2. Turn to Z mode.
3. Hit the RC key until the screen displays "E94".
4. Hit Cash Amount Tender.

Once the printing is completed, the journal is cleared and the register is ready for use.

Option #2:
To clear the journal memory WITHOUT printing the transaction details:

1. Turn to Z mode
2. Hit RC key until the screen displays "E94 Clear"
3. Hit Cash Amount Tender

Hi. Error 12 means you have run out of journal paper. replace the journal roll. The language can only be changed when the machine is fully cleared back to factory specs, then you must re-program it. Hi. The PCR-T470 is only a single roll machine, so if you had them printing at the same time, you would be handing the customer your journal when you gave them their receipt. This machine can be setup either as journal only (in which case you use the black takeup reel that sits inside the printer housing), or receipt mode (in which case you have the paper coming out of the front of the printer cover). The best thing about single roll machines is that when you have them in recipt mode (recommended), you can print the journal out of memory whenever you want. to do this, turn the key to X mode and press RC button until you see 'electronic journal', then press CASH to print it. you might be able to reset the journal by doing the procedure in Z mode (the manual isn't clear about this). Give it a try.

You can selectively clear information stored in your machine’s memory.
1. Press Setup on the control panel. The display shows the first menu;
FAX NUMBER/NAME.
2. Press ➛ or ❿ until ‘MEMORY CLEAR’ appears, then press
Start/Enter. The display shows the items you can choose to clear.
• FAX NUMBER/NAME : your fax number and name are cleared from
the machine’s memory.
• DIAL/SCHEDULE : clears the one-touch, speed dial, or group dial
numbers stored in the memory. In addition, all
the Schedule Job operations you have reserved
are also cancelled.
• JOURNAL : clears all records of transmissions & receptions.
• DEFAULT SETUP : restores all the option settings to factory default.

Only clear de Journal, don't clear the other.
Try this if it resolve the problem.
