My wife has a lenovo, and I couldn't get it to hook up to our home wireless router. I discovered that the software that hooks it up was not microsoft. (Under control panels, wireless connections) I uninstalled the lenovo wireless program and rebooted, then used the one that microsoft windows uses. Hope this might help
Ensure that you have installed the drivers BEFORE plugging in the wireless adapter, or Windows will install its own drivers that often do not work.
Try unplugging the adapter from USB and reinstalling drivers. The setup wizard will tell you when to plug in the adapter.
If still no luck, test the adapter on a different computer, the wireless adapter may be faulty.

I have a new Lenovo Thinkpad R400 7443 CTO. I am pretty sure you might be aware of its wireless network issue, do you have a solution for me? P.s I have already done the following:
1. I have downloaded the required drivers.
2. I have enabled wireless in bios
3. I have installed the wireless adapter, but it is not listed under netwok adapters in device manager
