Key pad does not work at all. cannot view any part of phone, just recieve calls

Usually you can click the green phone button and it will bring you to a list. Sometimes of calls you have recently dialed or of all calls (received, missed, and made) and maybe try click your right arrow on the key pad... and it should go from something like all calls to recieved calls to missed calls... Really depends on your phone!

No solution really. Apparently it was a malfuction with my phone and so my carrier is replacing it. Whew! Thank you for trying to help.

Hi there. I have the V8 I think, the blueish black phone. Anywho.. I'm pretty sure the touch screen is only for the music player. If you press the sidekeys while your phone is shut, you can view messages that have just been received and also give a quick reply from what is stored in the phone. You can also switch what kind of sound profile you're in. Mess around with it, I'm sure you'll figure it out. But again, as far as my phone goes I can only use the touch screen for music. chane the flex cable or try and reflash the phone firmware.

none of the keys work and key pad is not locked. Recieved phone last night worked fine. Today I can only answer calls and only by flipping phone open.

I have the same problem. Was not dropped or water damage to my knowledge. Just the red button works. When I open it, though, it shows the asteriks key as being pressed which is under the #7 key. Any help would be greatly appeciated.

i have that same problem, razrs suck, i hate em!! my screen is black, i can make and recieve calls...but my screen wont turn on, this is the 3rd time its happened...first time just restarted it...second time i let it sit without the battery in for over night...now it wont turn on no matter what...and the shiy silver circle peice on the left of the phone, the smooth one, it broke and fell off the phone, and i lost it at school...cingular is saying that voids the warrenty...
